Green Communities 2018 Garden Photography Competition: DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL THE 31st OF AUGUST!

Community Garden Projects have the ability to build and strengthen our community through cooperation, learning, and improvement. Because of this community garden projects have contributed a great deal to quality of life over the last decade, sometimes in unexpected ways. Their contribution towards community interaction is strengthened by community gardening’s inclusivity. Indeed gardening is one of the few activities that people from all walks of life engage in.

-       Are you a Gardener, Guerrilla Gardener, Allotment Plot Holder, or a Tidy Towns Landscaper?

-       Do you like to document the progress of the season by photographing what can be grown and created on your local green space or           garden?

-       If so the Green Communities Garden Photography Competition is an ideal way to celebrate the success of your community                           gardening project in making a greener place for people, plants, and biodiversity.

Entry is free, and there will be prizes for the best photographs across three categories.

The award ceremony will be held at Inspire Gallery, Dublin 1, in September 2018, and the winning images will be exhibited for a week.

Submission Deadline: 31st of August 2018.
